Day 421 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends

Today it was back to the regular routine here at the Reed Haus – whatever "regular" means!

Regina got Grayson up and to the clinic this afternoon. He was slow and hard to move in the morning as usual, but he was alert this evening. At the clinic today he carried a 15 lb bucket up and down the stairs to the clinic twice – that is 5 floors down and up, twice. He also worked on tying his shoes, following a checklist to find specific objects and talking about the pictures and videos we took at Mammoth.

One thing that Regina tells Grayson every day just before they go to the clinic is to do his best. Usually he says, "Yeah." Today he said, "I will!" Small improvements in verbal skills are good!
