Day 538 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends

It's Saturday! Today we all escaped from the harsh reality that the world gives us sometimes and spent some time enjoying the beautiful day and doing some projects that needed accomplishing. We had lunch with Austin and Xixi and for a brief time celebrated her belated birthday.

I feel compelled to say that after our discharge conference at CNS on Friday there was a minor celebration of our transition to home care. Good wishes were shared all around and we felt some closure after our time there.

We are taking a few days off of making plans and are just going to celebrate life this weekend – especially that of Regina who exemplifies all of the best in mothers. It is why we celebrate Mother's Day tomorrow.
