Day 738 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends

The pies (pumpkin and blackberry) are baked, the pumpkin bread is cooling, and the celery, onion, parsley, sage and garlic for the stuffing are all cleaned and cut for the morning ritual of preparing the bird. Thanksgiving is here!

Grayson was a bit slow today but he still had some encouraging signs. While getting ready for bed I asked him to remove his socks. He did then went over and put them in the laundry basket without being asked. Very cool! Anishka worked with him again today and he seems to respond well to her low key style and friendly smile. This is the end of her first (holiday-shortened) week and I think that she is a good fit with Grayson!
