Dear family and friends,
Grayson continues to fight his cold which makes him slightly slower than usual but just as affectionate as ever.
Tonight Austin joined Brant, Grayson, Lauren, Zack and me for a quick family dinner at home. The talk wandered to college roommates and Grayson listened as he as he ate voraciously. What caught my attention was how he laughed as Austin was talking about his various roommates. He knew most of them and remembers crashing on their couch and sharing beers throughout their college careers.
A lot has been robbed from Grayson's future but his memories of those days will be with him always. We must remember to help him experience those few treasured memories by telling these stories. What a great reminder to all of us. For him it is the equivalent of "we'll always have Paris".
