Dear family and friends
Grayson had another good day today. At the clinic he was more alert and was able to accomplish more things than he normally is. He was helpful at home again this evening also as he assisted me in getting some chores done.
The kind of things we mean when we say that he is more alert are things like "quicker to react". That means that he might respond to a request to "stand up" after a few seconds rather than having to repeat it several times; finishing the lines of familiar songs instead of remaining silent; doing all of the correct things in the correct sequence after being asked to go to the restroom instead of getting stuck and just standing there. Believe me – alert is way better!
