Day 647 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends,

Grayson woke up a little brighter today and that is always a joy.

We worked particularly on muscle strength today, focusing on various muscle groups using resistance. Later this evening he was sitting in a chair and some lively music came on. I asked him offhandedly if he wanted to dance with me. He jumped up and put up his hands to dance.

On these brighter days he is more responsive but with that comes a little more agitation in the evenings. His hands were shaky at dinner and he clenched his teeth while we were brushing tonight.

Wish we had a way to see what was going on in him – instead we are learning to read the clues.

We should all be so perceptive of our life's partners.
