Day 511 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends

Today was a delightful day! We went to church this morning and had the opportunity to see Lauren and the bell choir perform two awesome works. Actually this was a combined effort of the young adults (older youths?) and the adult bell choir which gave the group the opportunity to pull out all the bells for a breathtaking sound of so many octaves. Wow!

Lauren, Grayson, Regina and I had lunch after at a local haunt where we spent a leisurely afternoon sitting outside in the Southern California sun and dining. Lauren and Regina then went off to work and Grayson and I busied ourselves at home. Grayson carried a bunch of things up from the garage for me, and then we made our market run for the week. We returned home and decided to take a brisk walk before dinner. This was the best he has ever done with me on our walks. We finished our normally 30 minute walk (one mile) in 25 minutes today. Great job Grayson!

After returning home, we ate dinner, watched a part of a movie then went to bed.
