Day 523 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends

The Doctors of USC performed a procedure on Grayson this morning to correct his atrial flutter. The procedure (actually a series of procedures) took about 2 hours and Grayson was in recovery by 12:30. All went well and he will be discharged tomorrow if all continues to go well.

This evening we watched movies and generally kept Grayson busy so he wouldn't fiddle with his IVs. At 10:00 PM he had the last of the lines removed so tonight he should be able to sleep without having Regina worry that he'll get tangled and pull them out.

Regina continues to be the champ staying by Grayson's side at all times. She is a tower of strength through all of Grayson's medical issues.

It looks like we'll have a few more meds to add to Grayson's daily collection. But it also looks that the ski trip is back on, after looking in doubt yesterday. So our adventure this week is coming to a happy end!

God is good on this very Good Friday!

Pax!

Brant
