Day 1099 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends
Today was a busy and a productive day for all of us. After returning home from church, we moved the final bedroom items out of the living room and back into the now-finished bedroom. Thanks to Austin and Zack, we had the horsepower to lift the final three pieces into their final locations. Tonight we will sleep in our new bedroom with a living room that is almost ready for Thanksgiving. We still have three more days to prepare!
Grayson remains alert and active. Tonight we made a “short” grocery run – short because we only have a few days to shop for before the Feast of Thanksgiving! (That meal will require at least one more shopping journey.) Grayson was helpful at the store pushing the cart and in bringing bags of groceries up stairs. While it may be faster to keep him uninvolved, Regina and I try to turn every life activity into therapy.
Pax!
Brant

  1. Brant I can't help but be continually amazed at what a great job you and Regina do with Grayson on daily basis. He is truly blessed to have you as parents.

  2. I'm excited to hear that your bedroom is actually in the neighborhood of being finished! (I hesitate to say it truly IS finished, as I'm not sure about the bathroom, etc.) It has been a long project, but I'm sure it's beautiful and a peaceful place to step into at the end of your looooooong days. Thanks be to God.
