Day 677 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends

Grayson was pretty alert today. He has been bright-eyed for the past few days now.

This evening we went to dinner with Rita and Richard at our favorite Chinese restaurant in Montrose. We had a delightful time and Grayson was very calm and well behaved for an extended period of time while we ate, talked and enjoyed the warm summer-like evening and sunset. We dined outside, something that will end shortly as the seasons will be changing soon. (In Southern California, summer weather continues for another month.)

It was a wonderful end to a week that had a very scary beginning!
