Dear family and friends
Today was mostly a family day. Regina, Grayson and I went to the 11:00 service as usual today and Lauren was in the bell choir. They played a delightful arrangement of Crown Him with Many Crowns and we were pleased to be able to hear it. Last spring we were generally in Bakersfield when she played!
Austin and Xixi joined Lauren, Regina Grayson and I for lunch – a relaxed and unhurried meal together. I had to run back to church this afternoon to sing at the installation service of our new associate pastor. There were lots of good things to celebrate – a wonderful new associate, a great quartet to sing with and a festive occasion!
When I returned home, we started the season of Christmas movies. Tonight's selections were Elf and Santa Claus 2. Both of these delightful movies are right up Grayson's alley. He laughed, giggled and wiggled all night long. What fun!
