Day 341 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends

Grayson had a different day today. The patients at CNS went on a field trip to a corn field maze. I'm not aware of the particular details but he had a good time. When later asked what he did today, he said, "Corn". Regina asked him to put his answer in a sentence, and he said, "I saw corn." Progress!

Because of the impact of the presidential motorcade on the freeways around our house, Regina and Grayson decided to take a detour on the way home and went out to our favorite sushi place. They had a delightful dinner together and enjoyed some of Grayson's favorite food.

I arrived home from 10 days on the road this evening and found Grayson waiting up to greet me. He gave me a big hug before heading off to bed. According to Regina, he had another "with it" day – a little more verbal and signs of initiative.
