Day 361 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends

Grayson woke up extremely hard again today. Fortunately for us, in spite of his difficulty waking up and making connections, he is sweet and loving. He gives lots of hugs and snuggles!

When he arrived home from the clinic this evening he was a bit on edge. He seemed a little stressed by unspecified things and that stayed with him the entire night. Interestingly enough, the "edge" actually allowed him to perform better in some of his activities of daily living (ADLs). He was able to remember and focus on some tasks that generally evade him. Something was different and not quite right, yet some things were easier – how about that!

Another pretty good day!

Pax!

  1. Brain injury seems difficult to understand at all times. It's strange that irritation or stress of some sort would open some pathways that normally stay closed. . . but I'm glad there was a positive portion to the day.
