Day 354 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends

Today when Grayson woke up, he was stuck. He just couldn't seem to do anything. He couldn't stand up from the bed, he couldn't put on his pants or put on a shirt or socks or shoes. He put his head on the table at breakfast and didn't eat breakfast for the longest time. It was a miracle that Regina was able to get him ready for transportation to the clinic.

This afternoon when he arrived home from the clinic he was alert and active. Regina gave him a multi-step activity to accomplish – go upstairs, put your socks in the laundry bucket, put on your sandals and come back downstairs. He did it!! He was engaged and active all night. Wow what a difference from this morning!

Oh, and this is so typical of brain injury.

Pax!
