Dear family and friends
Today was a great day for all of us! Grayson got up early and took a morning ski lesson from Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra. Xixi took a lesson from the Mammoth Ski School and Austin and I got to ski all over the mountain for a short time this morning. Grayson had an awesome session this morning from (no kidding) a high school sophomore who not only really knew her stuff, but was an absolute pro at keeping Grayson engaged by talking and encouraging him the entire time. At the end of his lesson, she and her adult assistant took Grayson over to more challenging terrain and he did quite well. Austin and I went along for the more challenging terrain and saw firsthand just how well Grayson did.
We had lunch at the Main Lodge then Grayson was back for an afternoon session. Grayson skied with two of his favorite instructors who kept him laughing and engaged the entire time. We returned to the condo tired but happy!
