Day 790 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends

Today was a sleep-in day after a late night last night. Rita and Richard were over and we talked and laughed until the wee hours of the morning!

Today was characterized by relaxed start, some errands late in the day and a kicked back evening. My kind of day!

Grayson was alert and affectionate all day. He ran errands with me today and was very helpful in carrying skis and a snowboard to Sports Chalet to erase the effects of Mammoth's rocks. Without Grayson I would have had to make two trips. Given a little bit of direction and a simple task he still does what he can – he wants to please and do his part. We just have to make sure that his part is within his capabilities and then celebrate success!

Grayson is not all that different from all of us – we want to do our part then celebrate success!
