Day 878 – Grayson’s Journey

Dear family and friends

Today Grayson finished up his testing in San Diego about 2:00 this afternoon. The rain was much lighter and shorter in duration than we had expected, and so we had the opportunity to enjoy some San Diego sunshine and some lunch before we broke for home. We headed inland to avoid the traffic that was sure to plague us had we gone up I-5 and we had a most pleasant journey through the Inland Empire – traffic free I might add!

Grayson was particularly good today. He worked hard during his testing and fell sound asleep on the way home. While sleeping in the car was normal for the "Old" Grayson, this is not typical of him today. We drive for 5 hours from Mammoth and he won't sleep a wink. Here he was asleep for at least an hour of the 2 ½ hour journey.

Tonight he went to bed at his normal time and was down for the count. His brain had quite a workout these past two days and rest is in order!
