Dear family and friends
When I called this evening, Grayson was at the rec center having cake and ice cream! One of the patients was celebrating a birthday, and in the CNS tradition, all of the residents were invited to the party. One of the reasons that I will really miss this place is that there are many people there that have conditions similar to Grayson. The patients have enriching activities, caring people to watch out for them, routines that are healthy and focused, and lots of staff looking for a way to make things better, or ways to improve the quality of the lives of their patients. This is a special place.
I talked to Grayson late tonight. He sounded more alert than he should have been at 9:30 – 90 minutes past his bedtime! Perhaps the sugar from the cake and ice cream had something to do with it?
Today was another good behavior day – Yeah! Let's hope and pray that they continue.
