Dear family and friends
Grayson and the entire group at the clinic went bowling after lunch today. The group got in an entire game and a pizza! All of the therapists were there also. It is great therapy – out in the community, playing a game together, taking turns, the physical challenge of rolling a heavy ball down a lane, comprehending instructions, keeping score, even putting on bowling shoes and tying the laces – it is all the therapy of living. Grayson had a blast!
It is the last day of 2010. It has been a wonderful year. Even if our lives have been changed forever, it is wonderful to have lived and seen the changes and improvements in Grayson's life. While he will never again be the young man we knew, he is a wonderful and loving young man and we accept the special opportunity we have been given. We are blessed and challenged as we share his journey with him.
