Dear family and friends,
The absolute joy of spending the whole weekend with Grayson, Austin, Lauren and Brant and witnessing Grayson's memory improvement is still washing over me. There is nothing more I can say except to share today's gospel with you.
" 'For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' So they began to celebrate." Luke 15:24
To read the whole parable see Luke 15: 11 – 31.
Grace and peace to each of you,
Regina
The journey with Grayson is also a parable, for all of us. What blessings abound for everyone, when you simply meet someone at their point of need? No expectations, no intrusions of your hopes or intentions, simply... meeting someone precisely at their point of need.
ReplyDeleteWhich is also one of the messages of the parable in Luke, which many theologians have retitled "The parable of the loving father."
Blessing upon blessing. For all of us.
Hi Brant and Regina:
ReplyDeleteWowzers! ...and the celebration will just keep on keeping on! And we will pray for each day to bring what He wills, and live in His Shalom.
In Him,
Doug
